Wire rope and trawl warp inspection to catch wear before it becomes a failure at sea. AMS tests steel wire rope and other marine hardware on our in-house 200t hydraulic test bed, and uses our own INTRON magnetic resonance testing equipment to check for wear inside the wire itself — wear a visual inspection alone can’t see.

How We Deliver It

Testing is carried out using AMS’s own test bed and INTRON equipment, in-house — not sent out to a third party. The 200t test bed is based at our Cape Town and Walvis Bay workshops; our INTRON magnetic resonance equipment is also available onboard your vessel.
